I started and finished this book in a day, despite it being over 400 pages long. The characters are great, and the storyline is even better! The book is about a fourth-grader named Sakura who opens a magical book, the Clow, and awakens a magical creature named Cerberus (or Kero-chan for short). He tells her that the book used to hold magical cards called Clow Cards, and that he is the protector of the cards. Unfortunately, the cards went missing when he fell asleep for... well, about thirty years. Now Sakura has to collect all the Clow Cards and save the world from disaster! And so the adventure begins...

If you're looking for a manga packed with action and adventure, this is the book for you! The illustration is exceptional, and there are 25+ color pictures (They say there are 25, but I counted 30)! I would definitely recommend this book for those who have money to spare/have a birthday coming up. They're pretty expensive, but by my standards, worth every cent!
Tip: Don't buy from Barnes and Noble; it's $7 more expensive than ordering off Amazon. :)

Hi! I was wondering, has anyone else seen the adorable web series called Simon's Cat? The creator is Simon Tolfield, and as of a few weeks ago, he published another Simon's Cat book! It's called Simon's Cat vs the World. I watched the video "Simon Paints 'Catnip'", a paint video and teaser for the book, and thought that Simon's method of painting was really neat. In fact, if you look closely, he's even using a Wacom Intuos3 medium tablet! Well, here's two videos: One is Simon's cat in "TV Dinner", and the other one is "Simon Paints 'Catnip'."

Brave Story by Miyuki Miyabe
If you know me well, you probably know that I'm going to write a graphic novel. Well, I changed my mind. I'm writing a regular novel! Right now I'm working on Chapter 3. If I have time, I may even post the prologue here. I'm also nearly finished with my next piece of art: I finished the watercolor background. I'm making a fan art for my new favorite book: Brave Story. It's by Miyuki Miyabe (I hope I spelled her name right!), and it's a very adventurous book about a boy's travels through a land called Vision. You should definitely read it! I hope you like long books, though, because this novel is a jaw-dropping 816 pages! I also want to thank the author of this book for inspiring me to write my novel. So, thanks! ;)
